Once this piece has arrived at its destination it has the potential to last indefinitely. Please keep your piece out of the sun and away from moisture and humidity. Dust carefully as needed. Spot cleaning figure prints can be done gently with dry cloth. A spot of cleaner on a cloth and then gently applied to the glass should remove any stubborn smudges. Should any fogging appear on the inside of your dome, this is due to humidity and will not damgage your piece. Carefully remove the glass dome, wipe out the inside with a dry cloth, and replace dome on base.

If you receive your item(s) and it is damaged, please file a claim with the shipping company used to process your refund.

Flutter by Katie is not liable for damage sustained in prolonged transit or delivery delays. We struggle with not being in control of this, it keeps us up at night. Seriously, Katie makes each piece by hand. They are precious cargo, and we pack each one with the utmost care. We have a great track record with shipping, but in the event something breaks, please contact the shipper asap. We wish there was more we could do on our end to make it easier, but unfortunately the onus is on the recipient to submit the claim. Each is handmade by Yours Truly, and with real butterflies, so each piece is unique. You may see imperfections in each piece as all butterflies are real specimens. All wood, glass, and other materials are carefully handpicked to ensure quality, harmony, and proportion. 

This piece includes Corina Daggerwing, Calypso, Emperor, Redwing Lacewing, African Monarch,Gulf Fritillary, Map, and Peacock Pansy butterflies.

 All specimens are real. No color has been enhanced, all patterns are naturally occuring. No specimens used are extinct, endangered, or threatened. No bugs were harmed in the making of the art. The collection of these specimens is beneficial to the health of their populations and aids in the efforts to increase their numbers.
